She was predeceased by: her parents, Nona Gay Carr and Thomas Wayne Brown; her brothers, Trace Thomas Brown and Lester Robert Brown; her daughter Shonda Brooke Ferguson; and her son-in-law Gary Jeff Booth.
She is survived by: her husband Bubba Ferguson of Wisner; her children, Duane "Dewy" Ferguson (Elizabeth), Shannon Ferguson Booth and Amy Ferguson; her grandchildren, Constance Hendry (Daniel), Kristen Townsend, Lane Barton (Katelyn), Alec Barton (Kassidy), Taylor Harrison (Eli), Mary Kathryn Parker (Jordan), Carree Smith (Avery) and Mason Collie; and her great grandchildren, Precious and Rufus. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Apostolic Faith Chapel (309 Old Highway 15, Gilbert, LA 71336). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
