He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Ethel Bruce (Jewel Faye Bruce); his son Bubba Bruce; his daughter-in-law Ginger Bruce; and his brothers, J. E. and Buck Bruce.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Bruce (Linda) and Doug Bruce; his daughter-in-law Pam Bruce; his grandchildren, Brad Bruce, Allison Smedley (David), Kristy Hammack (Jason), Millicent Haydel and James; his great grandchildren, Ben Parker, Luke Bruce, Brantley Bruce, Ty Bruce, Isabella Jewel Hammack, Landry Haydel and Grayson Hammack; and his stepgranddaughter Myki Garcia.
