It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byron Stevens of Winnsboro, Louisiana, born in Natchez, Mississippi, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Byron Stevens; his brother George Rufus Stevens; and his stepson James Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Stevens; his children, Paul Gravelle of Winnsboro, LA and Jennifer Stevens of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Chas Gravelle of Houston, TX, Mary Beth, John Reech of Fort Polk, LA, Bella and Anastasia Stevens of St. Louis, MO; his great grandchild Thomas Reech of Fort Polk, LA; his mother Louise Stevens of Natchez, MS; his sisters, Nancy S. Loomis of Port Allen, LA and Karen McRevy of Orange Beach, AL; and his stepchildren, Beverly, Larry and Gary Gillespie. He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren; nineteen step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great grandchild.
