With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mellie Barton of Winnfield, Louisiana, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Folden and Etta Rolen Folden; her husband Wilmer Clyde Barton Sr.; and her siblings, Robert Folden, Vivian Folden Ross, Sally Folden Williams, Roddy Folden, Betty Jo Folden Barton, Edna Folden Hair and Glen Folden.
She is survived by: her children, Wilmer Clyde Barton Jr. (Julie) of Dawsonville, GA. and Kimberly Brock (Greg) of Holly Springs, NC; her grandchildren, Justin Barton (Emily), Madelyn Barnes (Steven), Jacob Brock and Garrett Brock; her great grandchildren, Chad Michael Barton and Averie Nicole Barton; and her sister Johnette Folden Atkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
