He is survived by: his wife Elaine Waters Atkins; his children, James Hudson (Christy), Wendy Atkins (Scooter) and Clint Atkins (Shannon); his grandchildren, Carlena, Denyse, Cheyenna, Rhett, Nathan, Bradley, Jlynn Laine, Chasten, Jayden and Kaylynn; his great grandchildren, Adam, Carly, Amelia, Collin, Thomas and Savannah; his siblings, Monty Atkins (Marty), Mike Atkins, Tracy Atkins, Vance Luther and Teka Sanders; and his mother-in-law Marie Waters.
