With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwight Callender of Winnfield, Louisiana, born in Urania, Louisiana, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpherce Callender and Ethel Mae McNaughton Callender. He is survived by: his wife Wadean Cruse Callender; his children, Kevin Layne Callender and Gay Callender Mitchell; his grandchildren, Peyton Mitchell and Fallon Mitchell; and his siblings, Katie Mills, Tim Callender, Don Callender, Roy Callender and Wanda McCartney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Winnfield or charity of the donor's choice.
