He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Fitz Swanson, Sr. and Clara Corinne Talton Swanson. He is survived by: his close friend DeWanna Ann McLaren (Nancy) of Winnfield, LA; his son Mark Carl Swanson of Mobile, AL; his grandchildren, Reese Elizabeth Swanson and Ian Alexander Swanson of Cantonment, FL; and his brother Arthur Michael Swanson (Ginger) of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by niece, great-niece, great-nephew and several cousins.
