He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Mouton Chauvin; his parents, Elvine Boudreaux Chauvin and Arthur J. Chauvin; and his brother Arthur Chauvin Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen C. Johnson (Jackie), Lori A. Magliaro (Joe), Donna C. Wolsing (Wade) and Dawn C. Atchley (Charles); his grandchildren, Jackie L. Johnson (Stephanie), Raymond P. Johnson, Amanda Eby (Thomas), Benjamin Martin (Sidney), Chad Martin (Kat), Sean Martin, Christopher M. Benedetto (Mandy), Michael J. Benedetto (Taylor), Joshua C. Atchley (Emma) and Heather M. Atchley (George); and his siblings, Lois Pitre, Inez Bowlin, Pam Gisclair, Shirley Tully, Roy Chauvin, Albert Chauvin, Glenn Chauvin and Audrey Loup. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
