He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Cooper Houston; his child Shirley Hawkin; and his parents, James Houston, Sr. and Missie Frazier Houston. He is survived by: his children, Terri Houston (Willie), Debra "Lynn" Thompson (Donald), Gina (Lawrence) of Washington, Moses Houston, Jr., Ernest Lee Houston (Cheryl) and Faye Cooper; and his brother Rev. James Houston, Jr.. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
