He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexis Chabert and Pauline Pitre Chabert; and his siblings, Woodrow Chabert and Thomas Chabert. He is survived by: his siblings, Alex Chabert, Felix Chabert (Donna), Doris Robichaux (Elmo) and Eva Legendre (Earl). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
