It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Williams of Westwego, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Williams and Fred Williams; his daughter Cecilia Ellis; and his siblings, Shedrick Williams, Alonzo Williams, Della Ree Hickerson, Audrey Womack and Emma Jean Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Ellis Williams; his children, Andre Williams, Ann Bridges (Joe), Jacquelyn (Bishop Tyrone Sr.) of Washington and Nicole Smith (Cedric); his siblings, Glen Williams, Leonard Franklin, Shirley Hall (Stewart), Sylvia Franklin, Johnnie (Ronald) of Washington and Reynetta Brown; his grandchildren, Chelsea Paul (Emmanuel), Nicholas Smith (Amber), Tyrone Jr. of Washington, JoQuise Bridges, Tylyn of Washington, Tyaj of Washington, Tylea of Washington, Caitlin Smith, Andrenique Ford, Andre Ford, Andrenisha Hale and Zianca Bailey; his great grandchildren, Alijah, Alonzo Smith, Neeko Smith, Ayden of Washington and Ayriah of Washington; and his pet Precious. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and devoted friends.
Due to COVID-19, everyone in attendance must wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
