It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Marie Allemand Whitted of Westwego, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her child Thomas R. Whitted, Jr.; and her parents, Luke Allemand and Marie Delaune Allemand. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas R. Whitted; her stepchildren, James N. Whitted and Clif Whitted (Holly); her brother Michael Allemand (Irma); her grandchildren, Trevor T. Whitted and Riley J. Whitted; her stepgrandchildren, Haley Whitted, Josh Miller, Allison Whitted Downing (Cody), Caitlyn, Jolie and Jason Whitted; her great grandchildren, Alexander "Alex", McKenly and Kenny; and her godchildren, Angela Galjour, Brian Casey and Donna Marie Portier.

In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
