He was predeceased by: his parents, Lona Ellender and Murl Ellender of Choupique. He is survived by: his wife Alma Pruitt Ellender; and his children, Stephen Ellender of Choupique, Linda Bohacek of Houston, Anita St. Romain of Deridder and Charlotte Ardoin of Lacassine.
