It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Jane Francois (Ville Platte, Louisiana), who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Soileau and Lena Soileau; her former husbands, Joseph Byron Morein and Louis Carol Francois; her grandson Ryon Lawson; and her sisters, Una, Vena, Joyce, Lou and Odile.
She is survived by: her children, J. B. Morein, Jr. (Angie), June Morein Kirby (Johnny) and Debbie Lawson (George); and her grandchildren, Kim Fowler, Vincent H. Fontenot, Jr., Justin Lawson, Stephanie Morein and Gina Morein Arismendez. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
