She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Burns and Susan Burns; her brothers, Brodrick "Ricky" Burns and Dana Paul Burns; and her stepfather James Burianek.
She is survived by: her significant other James Burke Roy of Port Barre; her children, Kevin Jude Darbonne II of San Antonio, Sara Nicole Darbonne of Lafayette and Ashley Renee Darbonne of Houston, TX.; her sister Sharlene Burianek of Sunset; and her stepchildren, Jim Roy, Ashley Roy and Ashton Roy.
