He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Lavergne; his parents, Clement Lavergne and Mercedes Lavergne; and his siblings, Raymond Lavergne, Edward Lavergne, Anthony Lavergne, Virginia Aubin, Faye Lavergne and Theresa Lavergne.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Menard of Sunset; and his children, Michael Lavergne (Connie) of Sunset, Steven Lavergne, Connie Ortego (Ronald) of Opelousas, Pamela Marks (Dale) of Opelousas and Karen Meche (Joel) of Leonville.
