She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lewis (John Louis) and Louisa Bernard (John Louis); her husband Alton Alfred; her daughter Je'Nelle Chargois (Paul); her siblings, Walter Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Agnes Jones (Howard) and Rose Lastrape (Lawrence); and her grandson Devante Brown.
She is survived by: her children, George Alfred (Pearly), Grayland, Rudy Alfred and Sandra Huval; her brother John Lewis (Georgia) of Houston, TX; and her sister-in-law Anna Bell Lewis. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and host of friends.
