It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marshall Wesley Sanders of Sterlington, Louisiana, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ravens and Esther Jewel Wise Sanders; and his sisters, Louise Hudson, Joy Hudson and Ann Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Brownell Sanders; his children, Wesley Sanders, Teresa Sheppard (Phillip) and Kelly Eppinette; his parents-in-law, Mildred Brownell and Malcolm Brownell; his siblings-in-law, Saundra Brownell, Sylvia Ragland (Fred), Annette Wilkes (Mike), Patti Nelson (Todd) and Malcolm Brownell, Jr. (Lauren); his grandchildren, Allyson Borden (Early), Clint Sheppard (Lea), Katie Jones (Will), Whitney Pollard, Shelby Sheppard, Michael Sanders (Sarah), Tanner Sanders, Hunter Sanders (Desiree), Dakota Davis, Madelyn Sanders and Taylor Nelson; his sisters, Patti Ray Finley and Sue Wreyford; and his pet Sophie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Northeast Louisiana Food Bank.
