It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Francis Hammons Hays of Sterlington, Louisiana, born in Dubach, Louisiana, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Hays; her parents, LaDell Hammons and Bill Hammons; her grandparents, Jack Horton and Daisy Horton; her nephews, Jeffry Smith and Randy Hammons; and her brother-in-law Vernon Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Hays (Caron), Terri Matlock (Marvin), Mark Hays (Cindy) and Tammy Dyke (Donald); and her siblings, Jeanie Smith and Elvis Hammons (Cathy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews.
