He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Sue Burgess Powell; his children, Jimmy Powell (Donna) and Kathy Moore (Richard); and his grandsons, Shane Powell (Jodi), Ryan Powell (Nikki), Dusty Powell (Erin), Eric Moore (Heather Brooke) and Paul Michael Moore (Katelyn). He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
