He was predeceased by: his father William Caleb Dean, Sr.; his former wife Helen Dean; his wife Emma Dean; and his siblings, Alvis Dean, Charles Dean, Katie Mae Haddox, Corrine Taylor, Alice Coon, Emma Coon and Cora Smythe.
He is survived by: his children, William Dean (Juanita), Margaret Anderson (Lee) and Clyde Dean (Debbie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
