She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Ray Scurlock; her parents, Leona Mae Beagle Gaines and Oscar William Gaines; her brother Bill Gaines; and her granddaughter Carla Lenert.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Scurlock (Polly), Dan Scurlock (Nancy), Janet Dodd (Henry), Judy Lenert (Steve) and Ann Karkoska; her caregivers, Lavera Potter, Cora Wright, Doris Jackson, Beronica Clay of Washington, Kellie Trimmer, Brenda French and Jay Mitchell; and her grandsons, Paul Dodd, Cody Lenert, Patrick Dodd, Peyton Dodd, Clint Scurlock, Peter Scurlock, Joshua Karkoska and Daniel Karkoska. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
