With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John B. Frierson of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Basinger Frierson and Clarence Nicholson Frierson; and his brother Clarence Nicholson "Tannie" Frierson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Christy; his children, Trenton Holt Frierson (Maddie Dupuy), John Bolinger Frierson, Jr. (Adrienne) and Jennifer Grace Frierson Couhig (Ben); his grandchildren, Lillie Monroe, Audrey Marie Frierson, Amelie Phelps, Paul Bolinger, Anna-Clarence Basinger Frierson and Corbin John Couhig; and his brothers, George Archer Frierson, II (Ivy) and Christian Basinger Frierson (Paula). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to First Presbyterian Church of Shreveport or other institutions that are dedicated to God's good and loving purposes.
