It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry A. Whittington of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, E. G. Whittington and Lessie Whittington; and his brother John Whittington. He is survived by: his children, Gary Whittington, Stacy Whittington of Corona and Cora Chairez-Carter (Mel Chairez-Carter) of Seattle, Washington; his grandchildren, Ariel Whittington (Frank Kamerer-White) of Haughton, Caitlyn Ruiz (Fernando Ruiz) of Kaiserslautern Germany and Colin Whittington of Corona, California; his brother Paul Whittington; his close friend Anne Castie of Shreveport; his cousin Teresa Whittington-Bailey (Phil Bailey) of Meridian; and also Ruth Darnell (Roy Darnell) of Haughton, Louisiana. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
