He was predeceased by: his parents, Tritos Monk and Virginia Monk; and his brother Bob Monk. He is survived by: his wife Jessica B. Monk; his children, Jennifer Dauzat (James), Amy Hutchinson (Rawn), Jill Laughlin (Jeff) and James R. Monk (Amelia); his grandchildren, A. J. Dauzat, Savannah Baber, Alexis Presley, Sinclair Baber, Celeste Baber, Field Baber, Emma Laughlin, Jack Laughlin, Bailey Monk, Archer Monk, Emily Buckner and A. J. Buckner; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Braxton Dauzat.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kings Highway Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
