Rowell and Helen Mounce Rowell; his stepmother Fannie Rowell; his daughter Paula Rowell Burns; his former wife Pauline Sands Rowell; his cousins, Hollis Rowell and W. E. Rowell (Margaret); his sisters, Marion Rowell Clifton and Marie Rowell Martin; and his niece Dolly Knoer.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Rowell; his son Rob Rowell; his grandson James Burns; and his stepdaughters, Kim Prisk and Christy Eaves. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
