With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darrell Lynn Fitts (Shreveport, Louisiana), born in Vivian, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Sherman Fitts and Norma Ellen Kirkpatrick Fitts; and his great grandchild Owen Lee Fitts. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Beckie" Haynes Fitts; his children, Rhonda Waters (Jeremy), Darrell Fitts, Jr. (Sonya), Dana Zander (Aaron) and Ryan Fitts (Tara); his grandchildren, Kimberlyn Henry (Colton), Maggie Roberts (Brandon), Tyler Waters, Kobe Fitts, Sarah Brown, Aubrey Zander, Luke Zander, Camryn Zander, Jaxx Fitts, Knoxlee Fitts and Cate Fitts; his great grandchildren, Nova Roberts and Maddox Henry; and his siblings, Edsel Fitts, Alfred Fitts, Jane Willoughby, Glenda Fitts and Wanda Nolan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
