With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Braden Joseph Barkman of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on September 22, 2023 at the age of 27. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Charles Lawrence Allen, Byron Joseph Barkman and Ralph Dean. He is survived by: his daughter Braelynn Luna Barkman (Pumpkin); his parents, Christopher Harris and Michelle Anne Barkman Harris; his sisters, Bailey Anne Fremin (Kyle) of New Iberia, Crystal Rigsby (Harley) of Searcy, Trisha Harris (Garrett) of Shreveport, Louisiana and Nikki Harris of Shreveport, Louisiana; his nephews, Carson, Cooper Fremin and Jerry Rambin; his niece Carly Rigsby; his grandmothers, Amanda Jane Bentley Allen and Addie Dean; and his brothers, Cameron Sykes, Andrew Myers, Jarred Taylor, Thomas Lamb, Chris Hust (Bubba), Jaylen Cox and Mason Barry. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins; Braden's lifelong friends.
