He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. Gordon and Willie Erma Poteet Gordon; his son Billy Jeff Gordon Jr.; his parents-in-law, James Byrd and Essie Rider Byrd; his brother-in-law James Byrd, Jr.; and his siblings, Kenneth Gordon (Marlene), Betty Graham (John) and Shirley McAdoo (Rex).
He is survived by: his wife Ann Byrd Gordon; his children, Angie Gordon Britt and Phillip Gordon (Mandi Burford Gordon); and his grandchildren, Chloe Canezaro (Mackey), Bo Britt, Billy Jeff Gordon, III (Trace) and Preslee Gordon. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He began a daily devotional ministry during Covid which grew from a few family members to over 300 people.
