She is survived by: her husband Alfred Basile of St. Martinville, LA; her children, John Anthony Drake, Jr., Nicholas DeShawn Crouchet of Lafayette, LA and April Marie Reed of Lafayette, LA; her siblings, Willie Powell of Donaldsonville, LA, Warren Powell of Donaldsonville, LA, Edward Powell of Louisville, KY and Regina Gail Crouchet of Lafayette, LA; and her grandchildren, Johnny Earl Reed IV of Lafayette, LA, Davonte James Reed of Lafayette, LA, Donke of Lafayette, LA and Latrell Reed of Lafayette, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, church family and friends.
