He was predeceased by: his daughter Racheal B. Credeur; his parents, Louis Begnaud and Winnie Dugas; and his brother James Begnaud. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Louis Bennett Begnaud of Scott; his children, Helen Dartez (James Todd) of Cankton and Richard Louis Begnaud; his grandchildren, Sarah K. Dartez, James Tyler Dartez, Brandon M. Begnaud, Richard "Beau" Begnaud and Cheyenne A. Credeur; his great grandchildren, Bridon T. Begnaud, Christian Dartez and Tristan Tolbert; his siblings, Larry Begnaud (Erelda) of Lafayette, Raleigh Begnaud (Sharlenne), Baton Rouge, Theresa B. Delhomme (Jerry) of Scott, Priscilla Begnaud and Virgil Montoucet of Lafayette; and his sister-in-law Thelma Begnaud of Lafayette. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
