It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedies Romero (Scott, Louisiana), who passed away on May 30, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Remy Lavergne and Edolia Lyons Lavergne; her former husbands, Whitney Romero and Warren Wyble; and her daughter Judy Gasek.
She is survived by: her children, Edolia Miller, Rita Wells, Jackie Auenson (Kenneth), Karen Norris (Charles), Horace Romero (Karen Hebert) and Garland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Romero's name to the St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House, 923 W. Pinhook Road Lafayette, Louisiana 70503.
