She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Charles; her close friend Andrew Williams; her parents, Robert Duhon and Ophelia Duhon; her siblings, Betty Lee, Sylvia St, Mary Louise Morrison and Edward Duhon; her grandson Joseph Alexander; and her great grandchild Nikki Batiste.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Jean Sinegal, Mary Joann Duhon, Robert Duhon and Robly Duhon; and her children, Josephine Alexander, Mary Ann Batiste, Sally Joseph (Russell), Ericka Batiste, Latricia Batiste (Moses), Kimberly Batiste, Ronald Batiste (Donnella), Eddie Batiste (Latosha), Peter Batiste (Darlesia), Maxie Batiste III (Angela) and Terrance Batiste (Sesily). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
