She was predeceased by: her parents, Davis Bernard and Lula Bernard; her brother Jerry Bernard; and her nephews, Shane Semien and Quinn Aubrey.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lorena Moss, Mary Broussard and Pernella Bernard; her sister-in-law Geraldine Bernard; her brothers, Lawrence "Jake" Bernard (Marie) and Michael Bernard (Brenda); and her godchildren, Jason Bernard and Lisa LeCompte.
