She is survived by: her children, Wilbert Chaisson (Joanne) of Lafayette, Gilfred Chaisson (Judy) of Lafayette, Betty Bias (Ray) of Scott, Marie Chaisson of Lafayette and Cedric Chaisson (Bridget) of Scott; her godchildren, Anthony Broussard and Andrea Taylor; her daughter Joyce Thibeaux Strauss; her great-grandparent D'Anthony Francis; and her siblings, Donaldville Broussard, Clifton Broussard (Audrey), Dudley Broussard (Ethel), Hubert Broussard (Thelma), Eva Thibeaux (Ernest), Vercy Dorion (Alfred), Ella Jolivette (Isadore) and Rita Broussard (Eldridge). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
