She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolza "Kido" Laviolette and Laura "MeMe" Laviolette; her brother Eddie Laviolette, Sr.; and her children-in-law, Les Melancon and Patricia Oubre.
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Oubre (Lena), Tim Oubre (Deanie), Irene Melancon (Tom), Patricia Blanchard (Glynn) and Paula Fuselier (Byron, Sr.); her sister Helen Romano; and her grandchildren, Sharon Melancon, Jeff Melancon, Brett Melancon, Bryan Blanchard, Jerry Blanchard, Kealey Oubre, Shara Guidry, Brai Ronsonet of Byron, Fuselier, Jr., Lana Thibodeaux and Rico Oubre. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
