She was predeceased by: her parents, Minor Mitchell and Edna Gedward Mitchell; and her siblings, Fredrick Mitchell, Sr. and Minor Mae Mallery. She is survived by: her close friend James Fontenette; her sons, Ronnie Joseph Davis, Jr. and Jacoby Fontenette of Saint Martinville, LA; and her siblings, Larry Mitchell of Lafayette, LA and Edna Mitchell Johnson of Saint Martinville, LA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
