He was predeceased by: his parents, Gercy Champagne Russo and Sam Russo; and his grandparents, Ben, Virginia Russo, Devillier and Pearl Champagne.
He is survived by: his wife Denise A. Allemand; his children, Kain Russo, Alicia Russo and Celeste Allemand Bychurch (Lucas); his grandchildren, Kourtney, Chans, Kayden, Gabe and Grant; his siblings, Leonard Russo (Rosemary), Sammy Russo (Mona), Virginia Latalois (Dewey) and Chris Wyatt; his parents-in-law, Duffy and Carol Adams; his siblings-in-law, Cindy Ardoin (Todd) and Reed Adams (Sabrina); and his godson Todd Dupont. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David's name to Rebuild Grand Isle and St. Joseph Hospice.
