She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis J. Gardemal, Sr. and Elaine Gardemal; her grandparents, Savie, Amiee "Meme" Bellot Berard, Charlie and Roeana Schexnayder; her uncle Jerry Berard; and her stepfather Dieu Donne "Jay" Picard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ted J Schexnayder (Audrey "Denise"), Timothy Berard (Claudene), Curtis J Gardemal, Jr. and Shelly Picard (Nanette); her niece Ciji Ezell (James, Sr.); and her uncle Sidney J Berard (Gene). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
