She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel Luther Hammons and Mary Maxine Napper Hammons; her children, Robin (Danny Boyles) of Nashville, TN, Randy Gay (Patty) of Ruston, LA and Chris Gay (Gina) of Ruston, LA; her grandchildren, Betty Lou Boyles of Nashville, TN, Will Gay (Melany) of Ruston, LA, Madison Gay of Ruston, LA, Lane Gay of Ruston, LA, Morgan Gay of Ruston, LA, Sam Owen of Ruston, LA and Peter Owen of Ruston, LA; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Gay and Abigail Gay of Ruston, LA; her siblings, Luther Hammons of Clay, LA, Jimmy Hammons (Linda Kay) of Dubach, LA and Evelyn (Charles Taylor) of Dubach, LA.; her husband Marvin Gay; and her sister Lois Franklin. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
