She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sylvanus Hammons and Pearl Roach Hammons; and her husband James Hillman McCorkle. She is survived by: her daughters, Martha MacDonald of Freeport, TX. and Mary Carolyn McCorkle of Ruston, LA.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth MacDonald of Denton, TX., Shelby MacDonald-Lin of Vacouver and Anna MacDonald of Denton, TX.; and her great grandchild Rachel MacDonald-Lin of Vancouver, Canada..
