With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Greg McCarter of Ruston, Louisiana, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester McCarter and Dorothy Ray McCarter Albritton; his stepfather Irvin Baker Albritton; and his granddaughter Rebecca Marie. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his daughters, Heather Meek (Matthew) and Callie McCarter; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Amelia and Carson; and his siblings, Susan Kennedy (Buddy) and Don McCarter (Melea). He is also survived by his wife, children, and his grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston, LA, August 14, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 P. M. with the service to follow at 2:00 P. M. All attendees are asked to wear a mask during visitation and the funeral service.
The family requests that memorials be made to Temple Baptist Church in support of a program for men who need counseling or to the charity of your choice.
