She is survived by: her husband Sam Simpson; her daughter Sonja Riddick; her grandchildren, James Fisher (Stefanie), Noah Yelverton and Haley Yelverton; her stepchild Shannon Penix (Greg); her stepgrandchildren, Jacob, Ragan and Scott Simpson (Alice); her daughter Cheryl Yelverton Bertrand; and also, Preston and Peyton.
