She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wingerter and Rose Wingerter; her husband Thomas Hecker, Sr.; her siblings, Frank "Winnie" Wingerter, Charles Wingerter, Ismay Shields, Dorothy Downey, Rose Wingerter, Florence Anderson and Theresa Maloney; and her son-in-law Gerald Fisher.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Fisher and Thomas Hecker, Jr. (Lisa); her sister Helen Nicholas; her grandchildren, Daryl Fisher (Charlene), Patrick Fisher, Sr. (Rhonda), Melissa DeRamus (Kevin), Patrice Mills (Ron), Michelle Amriel and Dawn Farrell (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Patrick Jr., Mariel, Jared, Jacob, Madelyn, Lillian, Caroline, John Thomas, Meredith, Chase, Jeffrey III and Juston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
