She was predeceased by: her parents, Armond Joseph Oubre and Belle Canova Elfer. She is survived by: her husband Harold Joseph LaFountain; her son Armond Paul LaFountain; her brother Ricky Peter Oubre; her children, Jeffery LaFountain (Eve), Harold "Duna" LaFountain (Kambra) and Melissa "Missy" LaFountain Clement (Thad); and her siblings, Joseph Oubre (Mary) and Gloria Hotard (late Gerald). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
