He was predeceased by: his parents, David Earl Barr and Alma Freeland Barr. He is survived by: his siblings, William Thomas Barr (Kathy) of Choudrant, LA, Barbara Barr Nunnally of Houma, LA and Debbie Barr Meeks of Gilmer, TX; his son David Allen Barr of Calhoun, LA; and his granddaughters, Deborah Ann Barr and Amber Michelle Barr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Boeuf River Baptist Church in Shelby's memory.
