He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene Dew and Inez Johns Dew; his grandmother Georgie Dew; his nephew Kevin Howard; his brother Gene Dew; his cousin Gary Johns; and his niece Mindy Lejeune.
He is survived by: his son David Dew (Jessica Hunter); his grandson Davin Chase Dew; his siblings, Patricia Dew, Jerry Dew (Dylnn) and Sherry Ponsell (Bo); his aunt Bobbie Fay Clark; his uncle Jimmy Dew; and his granddaughters, Hannah, Gracie Marsh and Emma Lynn Johnson.
