It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Pettit in Rayville, Louisiana, born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dan Pettit; her parents, Eugene Swain and Ethel Swain; and her siblings, Carl Swain, Lamar Swain, Bennie Swain and Janice Swain.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Anna Piercy and Dan Christopher Pettit (Kim); her grandchildren, Chrystin Franks, Christa Hall, Cynthia Mathes, Shelly Nunnery, Chris Pettit, Ryan Pettit, Jaylyn Kenney and Paige Pettit; her great grandchildren, Mikey Nunnery, Kameron Knight, Leighann Nunnery, Katie Knight, Ever Pettit, Thatcher Mathes and Raylan Johnson; her siblings, Tommy (Shirley Swain), Glenda (Benny Cox), Marlene (Roger Harrell), Inez (Ronnie Smithey) and Rodney (Debbie Swain); and her extended family, Nicki Holder and Letha Taylor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
