She was predeceased by: her husband Fremence Boudreaux; her parents, Claude Cahanin and Dolphina Thibodeaux Cahanin; and her siblings, Rose Mae Cahanin Johnson, Nabbie Cahanin and Eugene "Gene" Cahanin.

She is survived by: her daughter Brunella "Bru" Lantier (Ken Lantier); and her grandchildren, Shad Lantier, Devin Lantier (Courtney Lantier), Brody Lantier (Jane Lantier) and Ashley Lantier Mallory (Sean Mallory). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
