It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Gary Goutreaux of Rayne, Louisiana, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Goutreaux; her grandson Edward "Eddie" William Leger; her parents, Clobule Gary and Louise Constantin Gary; her brother Rayward Gary; and her brother-in-law Donald Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Goutreaux Breaux and Keith Goutreaux (Tammy Credeur Goutreaux); her grandchildren, Kimberly Leger Mouton (Timothy Mouton), Joshua Goutreaux (Paul Cherry), Jeremiah Goutreaux and Krickett Goutreaux Jinright (Jason Jinright); her great grandchildren, Madison Mouton, Brianna Mouton, Owen Mouton, Ainslee Goutreaux, River Jinright, Islyand Jinright and Laken Jinright; and her siblings, Glyn Gary Kelley and Carrol Gary (Judy Gary).
